Helloshabby.com -- Native amakan houses are still favored and thus popular today. However, one of the disadvantages of an amakan house is that it is not durable because it is made of woven bamboo. However, many people are now starting to design them well using concrete as a combination. This house idea is one of the references. Check out Half Amakan House with Cozy Rooms.
Exterior
This house looks simple but is still made strong with concrete as the foundation. Amakan is placed on the upper wall area. The porch area is made more elevated to keep it safe and can be used as a comfortable relaxing area.
Living area
Entering the house, there is a living area with a sofa placed in a corner area and large windows to make the room look bright and spacious. In the adjacent area, a TV cabinet was added to make the room more functional.
Kitchen and dining area
At the back, the dining area and kitchen are adjacent and uninterrupted. The dining area occupies the area near the window which leaves a large space for access to the room including the kitchen. There is also a back door that makes the room more airy and easily accessible from the back area.
Bedroom
The bedroom was made cleaner with less furniture to provide more space and a large window for fresh air. The owner can also add a work desk or closet as an additional feature.
Bathroom
The bathroom was made very comfortable despite the small space. There is an additional curtain that separates the shower and toilet area to prevent water from splashing into the dry area.
